Over the course of undergoing my study's since reaching my final years at high school i have had a passion to become a qualified engineer and work towards designing and engineering things to help my community weather it ranges from building structures to the small devices we use in our everyday lives. Prior to my engineering passion i was following a trade path as it was to my knowledge that was I wanted to do however after under going work experience and working with tradesman and engineers I found that being an engineer was for me. During my study period between year 11 to year 12 I took on extra work on top of my subjects to complete a diploma of engineering which helped me to gain entry into My preferred university Griffith university. I applied the things I learnt into my university studies and everyday life. Outside of engineering I still love to work on cars especially 4wds designing my own to be most capable but still align within the engineering standards of Australia. I was diagnosed with a learning disorder called Irlen syndrome which some may consider to be similar to dyslexia. However my greatest achievements have come from adapting with my disorder and still staying on track with other students. I major in mechanical engineering and I'm hoping to use my degree to work across different areas such as automation and hydraulics. Over the course of my studies I have worked in hospitality living up to the Grill'd values that I apply at work and in everyday life. These include Passion, leadership, ownership, trust, and sustainability which when put together Stands for PLOTS. I apply these five values across the board at work, in my studys and everyday life. Whilst working at grilld i Have progressed from A trainee all the way through to a Team Leader. My role is to run shifts over a period of time making sure we deliver everything correct to our customers or clients. I am always in charge of the restaurant and during the busy periods I will always have a Assistant manager or the Restaurant manager to consult with if I need help. If i wanted to I could continue to pursues my grilld career and move up however I have reached the point where I can balance everything in my life.
