I also prepare and update a daily, monthly and annual cash flow forecast; identify any projected cash shortfalls and ensure that surplus funds are transferred to the National Loan Deposit Facility.In addition, I provide cash forecasts and other supporting information to NHS Improvement to enable the Trust to apply for a Working Capital Facility, adjusting as necessary to draw down short-term borrowing when required to maintain cash liquidity.Furthermore, I am responsible for drawing down or repaying PDC at the year end and ensuring that cash held is within the limits notified by the Head of Financial Services to ensure that the Trust may meet its statutory External Financing Limit (EFL).I also arrange for the payments of tax, national insurance and superannuation (Pensions) on the prescribed day each month. After ensuring that the desired materials and equipment had been distributed to the tradesmen on site, myself alongside my colleagues were responsible for removing existing flooring and units from the kitchens and bathrooms of two properties per day, so that the following trades could carry out their work. I also had to ensure that the sites were safe and free from obstruction, whilst simultaneously taking calls and requests from tradesmen and management regarding further materials as well as additional tasks that were required and needed to be fulfilled. I had to work to a tight schedule in order to ensure that the site ran efficiently and to programme; a large degree of responsibility was placed upon my shoulders, as myself and my colleagues were effectively responsible for maintaining a smooth running site.
