I am currently part way through completing my Bachelor of Commerce Degree at the University of Auckland, majoring in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I aspire to learn all I can whilst at University surrounding this area, to aid me in one day creating and cultivating a business of my own. I also have a passion for Supply Chain, as well as Accounting, Economics and Management, all of which I am continuing to broaden my knowledge on through my studies. Due to my studies being impacted by the pandemic, I have gained the required skills to be able to work remotely, primarily through the use of platforms such as Microsoft teams, Zoom and Spacial.io throughout my time soo far.University has challenged me in a way that has helped me find and cultivate a wide range of different skills. These vary from JavaScript coding and Macroeconomics, to leadership skills and working in team-based environments. The wide range of core courses within the Commerce Degree has allowed me to experience a multitude of different areas within a businesses framework, helping broaden my overall understanding of business as a whole. Since the age of 16, I have been involved in my family business, C & R Packers Ltd. and became a full time employee through my time between High School and University (2020 - June 2021). Working my way through the business from casual floor worker, to then cosmetic product blender and eventually an office admin job, I have gained a far greater understanding of how a business operates, and have developed a deep understanding in the area of Supply Chain and Manufacturing. This time also helped me gain, and further my skills in teamwork, how to interact with people in a business sense and production line efficiency.
