Repaired, replaced, and documented electrical discrepancies on CH-53E helicopters.Responsible for maintaining the technical training program for 50 Marines for more than two years. Obtained the rank of Sergeant (E-5).Obtained Collateral Duty Inspector qualification.Received medal for good conduct.Duties entailed keeping qualifications up-to-date, tracking medical qualifications, and conducting training in a manner efficient to the welfare of the maintenance department. Tasked with the billet of Desk Sergeant at the rank of Lance Corporal. Managed work center, providing maintenance priorities to the Marines that were in the avionics shop at that time.Directly oversaw a team of 5 Marines within the work center and would provide counseling, knowledge, leadership, and mentoring to subordinates as well as making sure their personal lives were taken care of.Attended a month-long leadership course (June 2014).Completed two online leadership courses, one being an advanced course
