I worked on a sheet metal department of a busy factory manufacturing thermal transfer units. I operated a range of machinery including a LVD punch machine, LVD press brake, guillotine, and numerous air tools which include avdel guns, grinders and drills. In addition I am also required to use precision instruments to work to tolerances as small as 0.01mm, this includes verniers, micrometers, deburring tools and protractors.

I assisted in general warehouse roles such as de-bagging, organising and sizing clothes into the correct order and style, while using the correct health and safety techniques and keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and free of hazards.

My duties at this job included assisting a senior member of staff with building surveys, which I would draw up as existing floor plans, a location plan and a full site plan, which I submitted for building regulation and planning approval. As well as this I also assisted in amending proposed plans when required, which lead me onto completing tasks using 3D modelling software.

I prepared pizzas and cooked food for the customers on the shop floor, served customers at the checkout providing excellent customer service, and assured work space was clean and tidy, and I also helped stock shelves on the shop floor and assisted in warehouse duties when required.

I served food and refreshments to football fans and concert goers, Listened attentively and carried out instructions given by the team leader, assured workspace was clean and tidy, transferred stock from stores to food kiosks and trained new staff how to treat customers and use tills.
