I am a passionate, polite, trust worthy and motivated Graduate from The University Otago in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Music. I am from New Zealand raised in Queenstown (The Adventure Tourism & leisure capital of NZ). I have just finished traveling on my Overseas Experience, holding a USA J1 holiday & working exchange, grad student Visa. I have been settled in Austin, Texas for over 13 months however have now returned to my hometown of Queenstown, New Zealand to save for further cultural experiences. I have my own source of transportation and a keen mind and ethic for work. My previous work experience has been predominately within adventure tourism & leisure industry. Pyrotechnic(fuelling aircraft)/Assist with battery charge for airplane ignition.Responsible for courtesy driving customers 45 minutes to a remote location in ‘Paradise’/Valley (Also labeled 'middle earth' - where all the LOTR & The Hobbit were filmed) After courtesy driving I would be responsible for handling consent, weight, safety and legal binding wavers, before briefing the customers on the jump regulations and specifications(the Arch etc). After Briefing, I would fit all the harnessing before pre-instructor checks, while the plane is climbing to an altitude of ether 9, 12 and/or 15,000ft. I would then print the next manifest-(manifest was done with ‘IBIS’, a NZ program for tourism businesses that can be modified for each type of business). After organising all customer files and usb drives for commercial purchasing of photography/videography. I would then do ground crew work, refuelling generators and vehicles (vans). Pulling parachute breaks on landings over 15knots- (canceling at 23knots depending if the wind was laminar or not, if it was gusty we would cancel before reaching our max of 23Kn (our max being due to the terrain and conditions/mountains). After landing and un-harnessing customers I would hastily take all SD cards and insert for Edius Pro Editing software and produce the commercial photos and videos on a personal USB for the customers before debriefing (usually 3minutes per edit so very fast production and also accurate). Finally courtesy driving the customers back to the drop off point, before collecting the next bookings and picking up another group of customers.

    University summer holidays, before returning to my studies.Courtesy driving and customer care. Before moving onto packing tandems. Packing large parachutes, specifically 330's. Stable weather in summer we would jump between 150/250 persons per day. Requiring four fast pace-packers at an average of 30-55 packs per-day up to twelve hours per day. While rigging I was under an independent contractors licence, Employed by ones self, breaks are taken by ones own schedule -Meaning highly busy twelve hour days could not offer one self breaks what so ever. Extremely hard constant physical work with high attention to detail.
