Manage finance, accounting, and budget or other functional operations such as accounts payable or receivable, payroll, procurement, capital projects, endowment funding, or sponsored/non-sponsored research.The Capital Equipment Program Manager plays a key role in the FAS Division of Sciences and SEAS Capital Equipment Program, specifically ensuring that capital equipment is managed properly and in a manner compliant with University and federal regulations. This position works closely with FAS and SEAS Finance, FAS Research Administration Services (RAS), Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), the University Controllers Office, federal and non-federal sponsors, etc. on all aspects of equipment management including audits, equipment disposal, transfer, and sale within the FAS Science Division and SEAS. Serves as the local subject matter expert and resource for the faculty/departments/area in regard to University and federal capital equipment policy. Independently gathers, prepares, and analyzes asset data to provide asset reports to faculty, department executive directors, the Science and SEAS Dean's Offices, Research Administration Services, and Office of Sponsored Programs, and other internal and external constituents as necessary to effectively manage equipment in full compliance with University and federal policies.
