Marketing Intern

Radio Talk Show Host
I was the co-host and producer of the live radio talk show "Nerdtastic!", which ran for five (5) semesters on Sundays from 2:00 - 5:00PM CT, and became one of the most popular programs on the University of Missouri's campus radio station, KCOU-FM 88.1. During those roughly two and a half years, I would organize weekly meetings with the other hosts in order to discuss the run down of discussion and news topics for each week's show, weekly music break selections, and potential guests to bring on air. During live broadcasts, I was also in charge of monitoring the studio switchboard, which meant I was responsible for microphone volume control, music selection, and call monitoring; insuring that everything during the show strictly adhered to FCC standards.
Production Assistant
During my time as a Production Assistant on the set of "Marshall's Miracle," I was assigned to assist the dog trainers on set. This meant that I assisted the trainers with the care and preparation of twelve acting dogs, and the production crew with equipment set up and break down during 12 to 15 hour days. I was also responsible for the transportation of the trainers, animals, and film equipment between base camps and filming locations around the St. Louis, MO Metro Area. Finally, I was also in charge of securing sets and providing crowd control during filming to insure that the shots remained uninterrupted.
