⇨ Role: To develop and implement Business Intelligence solutions & complete BI-team managerial tasks. These tasks include staffing & sourcing recommendations, ROMs, isolating BI/ETL team priorities by delegating and/or communicating across various technical competencies or upwards to leadership when necessary.⇨ Tools & Languages: Tableau/Tableau Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, MDX, JIRA, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio➜ Assist a large DoD client in navigating a public-private housing crisis by providing insights and accountability through delivery of an SSRS dashboard and self-service reporting capabilities➜ Establish self-service capability within Tableau Server through the design & build of 45+ data sources, 15+ templates to support 17 reporting solutions, perform Tableau Server administrative tasks➜ Coordinate schedule & requirement dependencies across various stakeholders, lead daily BI/ETL teams stand-ups, and provide BI/ETL staffing recommendations based on project spend plan data➜ Effectively communicate highly technical concepts to functional consultants and management – from requirement feasibility to order of process operations that stem from cross-competency dependencies ➜ Lead junior team members through all elements of the project life cycle and technical environment to develop confidence and ultimately autonomy amongst the team➜ Script SQL queries for report data validation, create and modify views that source SSAS objects➜ Convert 20 reporting solutions (~350 reports & self-service tools) from IBM Cognos to MSBI SSRS
