About Connor Hetman
I am currently a student in the Building Construction program at Virginia Tech on track to graduate in December 2024. At Virginia Tech, I serve as an ambassador for the Building Construction program and also assist with social media marketing and industry relations for the Myers-Lawson School of Construction. After graduation, I am working with a nationwide general contractor and hope to build a career on the project management side of commercial construction.I have strong leadership skills, I am able to multitask well, and I have a very strong work ethic that my previous supervisors would tell you leads to me frequently working several hours past the end of my workday, even in salaried positions. I will be the first to admit that I still have a lot to learn about the construction field, but I am never afraid to ask questions, and I view every new challenge thrown at me as a learning experience that I will do whatever it takes to master.
