I started my tenure at the Boathouse as an expediter but the majority of my work experience came through my time as a cook. I was promoted to a prominent role in the kitchen after 4 weeks spent at a beginner position. I was entrusted with the preparation of over 30 menu items, as well as behind the scenes prep work for specials and off menu items. The job required several overtime hours, as well as the ability to communicate and work in high pressure situations. Aside from the kitchen, I gained valuable sales and customer service skills during my time as a waiter. The combined job titles allowed me to fully develop a skill set that can be molded to produce success in the field of finance.
