Hello! My name is Connor Fox, and I am a junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville pursuing a double major in Accounting and Finance with a dual collateral in the Heath Integrated Business and Engineering Program and International Business. My strengths lie largely in my love for information and knowledge, along with my desire to foster positive, healthy relationships in my work and personal environments. I highly value the use of information to make logical and rational decisions, as you can always look in the past at historical data and look into the future at trends in order to make strategic decisions in leadership and the workforce. I also love connecting with people and building positive and healthy relationships that lead to personal and professional development. In business, the ability to make these relationships allows me to become an advisor for many and has opened a lot of doors in the realm of networking and opportunity. My interest in pursuing a career in business, especially Accounting, stems from my passion for quantitative and analytical thinking, as well as my love for interpersonal communication and networking. During my time at UT, I have been building a comprehensive knowledge of the accounting and data analysis fields through various inside the classroom and external activities. To achieve this, I have actively participated in various clubs and organizations, with the aim of developing my communication and community-building skills while gaining valuable insights into the business world. Post-undergrad, I can see myself pursuing a masters degree in acounting and furthering my education in order to make myself truly knowledgeable on valuable technical skills in the business world.
