Patient Technology Project Manager
Current- Utilize video games and digital technology to achieve therapeutic goals with pediatric patients working with licensed clinicians in identifying needs and providing accessible technology.- Partner with Child Life, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy to create specialized projects with patients to serve as self-expression, educational and legacy projects.- Provides training for Child Life and Creative Arts departments on integrating technology into therapeutic practice.- Works with Development and Digital Fundraising to support #StreamForMott, a crowd-fundraising platform for content creators to fundraise to support the program using Tiltify, DonorDrive and in-kind gifts.- Provides direct outreach for new partners and retention of external relationships through conferences, conventions and local events to build and foster relationships with department.- Implemented fleet of 180+ iPads, 40+ Nintendo Switches, and 300 other devices for hospital use maintaining HIPAA compliance and infection control standards.- Works with GetWellNetwork to build live-stream platform within hospital TV system for interactive live-shows with Creative Arts team.- Created and manages MottTube, an internal TV station also available on YouTube. Built a standardized process for hospital staff to create videos with clinical goal focus and collaboration. - Hosts weekly “Mott Arcade” event where hospital patients and families are invited for a large video game day and local businesses, organizations and donors volunteer alongside patients playing games to build community, awareness, and foster socialization.- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee member assisting in departmental development and improvement of hospital policies.- Assists in various hospital-wide events, recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and providing technical support.
