Connor Langford is a recognized leader in the engineering industry, specializing in risk management and the design of critical underground infrastructure. He has worked for 15 years with the Mott MacDonald family of companies and is currently the Canadian Tunnels Team Lead, managing over 40 staff across three offices. Connor is a proven strategic thinker, communicator, and innovator that uses new approaches to improve project outcomes for clients and end users. He is also a committed key account lead for one of Mott MacDonald’s biggest Canadian clients, demonstrating his focus on building strong client relationships and growing the business for the future.Outside of work, Connor devotes much of his free time to supporting industry and community boards as well as educating and inspiring the next generation of leaders through guest lecturing and volunteering with educational organizations. He is also a dedicated supporter of restorative justice programs in BC, acting both as a volunteer and serving on executive committees.For his contributions to the industry and his community, Connor was awarded the 2020 Canadian Young Tunneller of the Year Award from the Tunnelling Association of Canada, the 2021 Young Professional Award from Engineers and Geoscientists BC, and was named one of 2023's Top Forty Under 40 by Business in Vancouver.
