As a software engineer at Lucid, I utilize many computer science concepts to add improvements and fixes to Lucidscale, one of Lucid's products. This includes Angular/JS knowledge, web development, testing, and good software engineering practices. Lucid uses scrum and a two week sprint system organized through Jira to allocate work. I worked on the beta of the now released product, Lucidscale. This consisted of working on the user interface such as user upload/setup flows, diagram interaction, and other tools to help make sense of cloud infrastructures. I was also introduced to the numerous strategies and tools that are commonly used within software development. This included scrum, conducting code reviews, and interacting with a small team consisting of software developers, UX designers, quality assurance, and a product manager.
