• Lead a team of engineers in the analysis, optimization and testing of various structures.• Aid customer in static and dynamic analysis for a life support system to be installed on a lunar space station.• Conduct static, dynamic, fatigue, and fracture analysis of control surfaces on a reusable space vehicle using FEMAP, NASGRO, and hand calculations.• Create technical proposals for new opportunities and manage ongoing projects.• Act as the liaison between the customer and testing house. • Generate test plans and procedures and oversee physical testing. • Manage cost and schedule to adhere to project budgets.• Work with the executive team to improve overall company processes and procedures.• Advise the analysis team and approve technical decisions.• Meet with customers to provide status and resolve issues. • Mentor junior engineers to prepare them for future project work.• Mentor customers in various engineering and analysis subjects.• Perform application engineer duties such as customer software support, provide technical expertise for pre-sales efforts, create training material, and teach classes when required.

• Design an aircraft radome installation using NX CAD, including the creation of a fuselage finite element model for internal loads.• Conduct static and dynamic analysis of launch vehicle structures with NX and TeamCenter – including design of engine attachment trusswork and gimbal mechanisms; static, frequency response, and random vibration analyses of composite components and fuel system lines.• Develop drawings of an aircraft tactical reconnaissance pod using CATIA CAD and GD&T practices.• Analyze welded steel structures used to support large launch vehicle assemblies using FEA and hand calculations.• Analysis and optimization of a balloon forming device for a medical catheter.• Conduct random vibration analysis of space shuttle oxygen sensor.• Create company wide internship program, analysis guidelines, and procedural document.

• Create stress reports and provide design modification recommendations.• Validate preliminary designs through Finite Element Analysis.• Conduct static, dynamic, nonlinear, frequency response, vibration, and thermal analysis types.• Mentor interns/junior engineers in FEA and design practices.• Interface with customers to acquire requirements and conduct design reviews.• Create FEA tutorial videos and documentation for company marketing efforts and internal training material.• Teach classes pertaining to NX CAD and Simcenter 3D for current and future customers.• Work onsite at customer locations ensuring quality relationships.
