Motivated by a desire to learn, to help, and to spread knowledge and clarity, I continue to have success balancing my passions, like music, politics, and the outdoors, with my roles as a Big Brother, a son, a community member, and a friend.I have had the pleasure of working in several sectors through which I have developed my skills as a thinker, problem solver, and mentor. Ranging from support-worker roles assisting indigenous populations with complex needs, customer service roles at Target, positions in both manufacturing and labour, to DJing weddings and school events, this breadth of experience has helped translate my academic research and hobbies in to tangible outcomes.During my undergraduate degree at KPU I had the pleasure of completing my honours research focusing on male engagement with the Big Brothers organization, specifically focusing on the ways in which male volunteers could be recruited and matched to suitable Littles. Numerous other academic opportunities and projects have provided me with a strong foundation in the fields of psychology and counseling - both of which continue to influence and impact my day-to-day acts within my community. With the goal of pursuing graduate studies in counseling, and, to become a father, I look forward to the volunteer and work experiences ahead of me.
