The DMEM Society is set up to deliver socials and events for Design Manufacture and Engineering Management students at the University of Strathclyde. My goal was to benefit the students by introducing and engaging them with the local and national design culture. The team and I, had to navigate the DMEM Society through the Covid-19 pandemic. We used our platform to encourage social engagement through digital workshops and events. We set up a virtual study room that was available to all students with scheduled events that would boost their design skills, through drawing or interviews. Other tasks included the 20/21 branding and logo simplification, hosted multiple panels with a range of experts on topics that focussed on design process and career topics, introduced weekly virtual sketching programmes through the Society's Ambassadors and working closely with the faculty to counter the negative impact on the social elements of student life caused by Covid-19.

Developing content to be shared on Fearsome's social channels.

At Fearsome I was involved in almost every ongoing project during that time. I was involved in the ideation, development and prototyping of products that were to be released into the market.I was given the full responsibility to work with a client on the development for a sports injury aid.

Working with companies such as Baker Hughes, NHS, etc. I would provide visual mock-ups and content for sign commissions. On occasion, I would assist in the sign's production.During my time there, artwork lead times decreased from three days to one.

DIGI was developed to introduce Globally Renowned Artists to Digital Fabrication. The role overseen facilitating these artists, bespoke commissions, and organising and running workshops for adults and children, for both Peacock's Digi and external partners such as Creative Learning, Aberdeen City Council.I was in charge of managing the studio on weekends, training members of the public and local artists on the range of equipment. Machinery: Desktop 3D printers, UV Curing Acrylic 3D Printers, 3D scanners, Laser Cutters and Engravers, CNC Equipment and Vinyl Cutters.

Involved in the set up and day-to-day running of the studio. My role overseen me operating and training members of the public on various forms of Digital Fabrication equipment, hosting creative workshops, obtaining new members, helping existing members and finishing commissions. My Apprenticeship was shared between Peacock Visual Arts and SHMU. The role became full time with the opening of MAKE.The role originally seen me contribute to filming and editing projects, art installations and workshops. Involved in SPECTRA 2014 Light Festival, working with 2000 primary aged children to produce a light sculpture for the festival.

My time at SHMU I worked mainly in the design department working on the community magazines aimed at regeneration areas in Aberdeen. I was involved with supporting one group of youths from start to finish through their SHMUtrain programme, which gives them skills which will prove useful for employment. This included helping with them with creating content and organising multiple live radio shows.

Member of the team responsible for the e-learning software for ConocoPhillips Australasia. This project was the largest e-learning project produced in the UK at the time.
