Responsible for hitting personal and store-level sales numbers (as well as aiding employees in achieving their own sales targets).Provide extensive training and support for employees all throughout our district. Onboard new hires, observe and coach behaviors on the sales floor. Coaching occurs both on the fly, as well as in formal one-on-one reviews that are conducted on a weekly basis. Ensure not only that sales goals are met, but that high customer satisfaction ratios are achieved. Our store consistently receives recognition for this effort in the form of Verizon’s Gold Star accolades, signifying stores that receive consistently high marks on Verizon’s customer survey responses. Maintain awareness of Verizon’s promotions and how to leverage them to to maximize our sales opportunities. Utilize outbound sales programs like Salesforce to drive more traffic through our doors and assign potential sales leads to employees. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Handling inventory and conducting weekly device and accessory counts, performing quarterly store audits, updating any and all merchandising to Verizon’s standards, and creating a schedule and managing timesheets for myself and our employees.On occasion, I’ve also been selected to travel to new store locations to assist with the acquisition process (set up, operations, and employee training for new locations). This included traveling to Rockland and Thomaston, Maine for four days to get two locations ready for their grand opening.
