I’m a highly motivated individual from Ohio who moved to Michigan after graduating from Kent State University to begin my career in Detroit. After pursuing my career for the last couple of years, I decided to chase my passion in developing myself as a leader by obtaining by MBA Wayne State University. Since graduation, I continue to search out leadership and personal development opportunities while striving to become a business expert in finance, treasury, project management, banking and leadership.I started my career at Rocket Mortgage as an Auditor and was promoted to Resolution Analyst and then Senior Resolution Analyst during my time in Capital Markets. In those roles, I gained experience understanding what each closing document meant and how we could ensure our loans could be traded on the secondary market. After mastering those roles, I transitioned to Product Analyst to focus on more project and hone my time and project management skills. In this role, I was responsible for introducing new Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac servicing guidelines to our business while ensuring that current guidelines were being followed. While honing my skills, this role also gave me an understanding of each business area under the servicing umbrella.After gaining a holistic exposure of the mortgage industry through my earlier careers in mortgage origination and servicing, I now call Treasury my home. Currently, I am a Team Leader for the Treasury Operations Allocation Team at Rocket Mortgage. Through my team, we are responsible for the initial funding of every loan that closes. We ensure that each loan we fund through our warehouse lines meets the robust eligibility criteria, is aligned with our company's financial and liquidity goals, and ensure that each client has their funds timely on closing day.What gets me up each day is the drive to make each day better than the last. I am someone who passionately learns as much as I can so that I can implement change that continues to drive our business forward. I'm someone that doesn't fear innovation or change, but instead welcomes and encourages it. Even when it may seem that something is at its best, there is always room for growth and a next step. My goal as a leader and person is to leave an everlasting impact for the better with each interaction.
