Hi there! I’m Connor, a young professional with data science and engineering experience in the Ad Tech and Fin Tech industries. I started out as a Data Science Professor teaching Python, engineering and ML to build students’ portfolios for the “hottest job”. As a data/analytics engineer in fin tech, I built out ETL pipelines with full self service dashboards to enable internal stakeholders to easily understand their KPIs. Now, transitioning into the ad tech space, my skills in both engineering and product have been able to shine as I am enabling 3rd party measurement on digital ads data. We wanted to answer how artificially intelligent agents can be created to be fair, and yet at the same time challenging when played against. We based our study on the pre-existing AI "Sabberstone" which was developed for the card game Hearthstone. I helped edit the open source code to output the total frequencies of cards played by the computer. Between us and the NYU team we worked with, we wrote a paper which we are looking to submit for peer review.
