This role consisted of a 13-week contract working at The Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana in Billings, Montana in the inpatient rehabilitation setting and 8 months working at West Valley Hospital in Salem and Dallas, Oregon in the swingbed/SNF setting.As an Occupational Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation facility and swingbed facility, I worked closely with patients recovering from various medical conditions, injuries, or surgeries, providing comprehensive rehabilitation services aimed at restoring their independence and functionality in activities of daily living (ADLs). My primary goal was to assess patients' abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and social workers, will be essential to ensure holistic patient care and successful outcomes.

Occupational Therapy Doctoral Capstone project focused on the relationships between the quality of management, employee satisfaction with their healthcare career, and how this ultimately impacts the care that is being provided to patients in an outpatient neurological rehabilitation setting.
