I work with a broad team of engineers, leadership, and other stakeholders to drive organizational progress in the adoption of public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. My areas of focus have ranged from partnering to build out the SRE team knowledge base and operating procedures to driving the completion of foundational go-lives. I emphasize the importance of mentorship, acting as both the mentor and mentee in varying contexts which include the Schwab Intern Academy and my interactions with the many capable, seasoned professionals I encounter every day.

I acted as the SRE technical lead for enterprise document intake applications where my foremost responsibility was partnering with my team and other stakeholders to maintain the production stability of our applications in order to support business outcomes. I emphasized, for myself and my team, a data-driven approach to production health transparency coupled with a focus on building trusting partnerships with others both inside and outside our organization. I gained exposure to a wide array of monitoring approaches and deployment methodologies that strengthened my ability to problem-solve in high-pressure circumstances while staying a respectful, team-driven colleague.

I joined Schwab after completing my senior year of my program as a level I engineer, working on a prominent Pega application and soon after becoming the lead site reliability engineer for a small automation application. Following an organization restructure, I joined a small production support team for document intake applications and worked with product owners, leadership, and new-hire engineers to help build a more mature SRE organization where the focus shifted from day-to-day prod support to an agile team that managed organizational priorities aimed at improving production resiliency through more proactive monitoring and automation. After Covid, I partnered with my team, leadership, and offshore contractors to sustain our applications' ability to accomplish business outcomes during a tumultuous period of global uncertainty with the market changes associated.

I joined the Schwab Intern Academy in the Technology Services organization where I was able to gain exposure to an array of new technologies and business organizations while networking with professionals on all levels of the career ladder. I worked with a mentor for my capstone project where I built a robust Splunk dashboard for the retirement of a legacy application that was utilized after my departure and received a return offer.
