I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry for almost 14 years, during which time I have gained considerable experience of leading analytical development activities for drug products through all stages of the drug development lifecycle.I have significant experience in analytical method development and validation (primarily with regard to HPLC and Dissolution analysis), as well as stability study design and execution for a variety of dosage forms. My current role as an Analytical Team Leader primarily involves managing a team of scientists and being responsible for the delivery of project milestones and smooth running of the laboratory. The role also requires that I work as part of a multi disciplinary team of formulation, analytical and quality assurance personnel, ensuring that the expectations of the business, and of our customers are successfully met.I am also responsible for ensuring our standard operating procedures and laboratory equipment/software systems are kept up to date in line with current industry and GMP standards.
