This is a strategic position, accountable for the implementation and operation of Infrastructure Services for the Defence Deployed services and across all offerings including Technical Maintenance Services, Hosting, End User Compute, Network and Operations.This is a critical role within a large and highly visible portfolio supporting Defence Deployed ICT Services, and accountable for ensuring Services are provided in an efficient manner to meet or exceed client requirements, while also meeting Fujitsu standards.

The role’s primary responsibility is to manage and monitor the consistent delivery of Managed Network Services to Fujitsu Support of Defence Deployed Networks.Key Responsibilities;• Manage the operational account strategy and technology support for the accounts in scope. • Identify and manage service improvements to increase customer satisfaction and delivery business value.• Work with technical leads to integrate new, enhanced and existing service offerings for the account. • Share knowledge across Managed Network and Voice teams and ensure consistent delivery.• Manage the Network and Voice service to the clients contracted requirements.• Resolve client/account service problems, and ensure the appropriate technology leads implement actions to prevent repeats. • Manage and co-ordinate activities required for Change Management.• Define the required skills in conjunction with technical leads, to ensure that account meets all obligations.• Ensures standards are applied for consistency of service delivery to Fujitsu and Defence published standards• Ensure project handovers conform to agreed architectural and technology standards. • Identify opportunities to improve financial positions on the account. • Manages, motivates and develops a team of Technical Service Specialists/Technical delivery people, ensuring that the service levels constantly improve and contribute to growth in new business.

Responsible for all aspects of facility management by providing solutions support to services supplied and operated by Telstra. Supporting our customers around Telstra systems will be key as will performing specialised technical investigations., These investigations will confirm system and design standards and performance parameters for the networks, infrastructure and services we offer.the ‘face’ of Telstra prior, during and post the WAN remediation of ADF bases in the Western Sydney Region. This involves anything from project management of startup functions such as an Air Traffic Control Tower network operations and design to in circuit upgrades and leading everyday Network operations. This has been a great achievement and challenge with varying SLA’s over a multitude of customers in a large geographical area. Amending the current PMO in place for Defence Engagement, better aligning to customer information and satisfaction, and am currently the escalation manager for NSW based projects.Have been selected among peers on numerous occasions to be the Acting Regional Delivery Manager for NSW, delivering all Operations SLAs and KPIs as stipulated in the Defence contract with Telstra.Produced detailed documents including the Work Instruction for BAU disposal of Defence Network equipment.

The Communication Electronic trade, within normal employment and supervisory guidelines, is responsible for the service management of scheduled/un-scheduled maintenance, trouble-shooting, coordinate and perform fault diagnosis rectification and repair of Ground Telecommunication Systems, Information Technology Systems and Electronic Ground Support systems which includes: Radio Systems;Radar Systems;Satellite Systems;Navigation Systems Antenna Systems;Digital Voice Switching Systems;Digital and Analog Electronic Components and Systems;Data Processing and Display Systems;Data Link Systems;Local and Wide Area IT Networks;Spectrum Management;Cabling & Transmission Lines;Telecommunications Rigging;Cyber Security Networks;Radio and Telecommunications Procedures (RATEL) These systems and equipment require technicians to perform engineering calculations, conduct analog and digital AC & DC electrical measurements and alignments using state of the art test and repair equipment; design and implement configuration changes, manage data, system and network administration of information technology equipment on strategic and deployed networks, setup of Ground Telecommunications, Information Technology and Electronic Ground Support systems equipment to sustain operations, certify and record work is carried out in accordance with Technical Regulatory Framework (TRF) guidelines, identification and demanding of technical spares and updating of technical publications.Selected as a subject matter expert on Defence ICT and worked alongside numerous companies to bring on new ICT equipment to the ADF, one of these was Trial 913 (DT 913). This trial was conducted to enhance ADF’s wideband satellite communications capability through provision of Medium Transportable Satellite Terminals (MTST).

Deployed under the banner Operation Hannah, Joint Task Group 658 was part of the broader Australian Whole-of-Government effort to support the Papua New Guinea (PNG) 2017 election process based on a direct request for assistance from the PNG Government. Joint Task Group 658 included some 200 ADF personnel and comprised ADF elements that provided specialist support capabilities, particularly helicopters and logistic assets that were not readily available in PNG. Operation Hannah focused on supporting the PNG authorities to conduct a safe, free and fair national election.

- Maintained Defence Protected and Secret networks on Deployable LAN systems providing 24 hour support to over 25 servers, 120 Cisco switches and routers and user terminal equipment for over 700 users.- Involved in designing and implementing a major Cisco WAN infrastructure upgrade resulting in a 500% increase in network performance to remote sites.- Identified and rectified a major voice communications issue resulting in an alternate voice capability and immediate voice communications between Middle East locations.

Deploy, manage and develop Australia's integration into the coalition IT networks in use at RIMPAC 12.As the only IT staff in country, I was required to maintain and develop IT process for senior staff to work alongside our US and Canadian counterparts.I was awarded a Letter of Excellence.

Deployment to Malaysia was required to increase ICT staff in location for Exercise Bersama Shield 12.During this time we were required to install, monitor and report on increased radio installs, network installs and cabling restructure.Mission success was achieved and the items we install remained in circuit.
