Member of Option Alpha trading community. During my time with OptionAlpha I developed the foundation of my option expertise. Once completing all of their option course programs, I began to explore the world of options strategies and trading. I used TD Ameritrade's trading platform to practice analysis and trading. The key to succeeding in the trading world was being ambitious, tenacious, and constantly improving my knowledge and daily trade routine. There is no one right way to trade, you need to build it around your personality and lifestyle. I continue to explore and enjoy the world of options with auto trading platform software; allowing backtest and simulations of option trading strategy bots. Finding a way to automate parts of your trading process is the future of FinTech trading.

Day trading large capital stocks during times of high volume and volatility using technical analysis, level 2 price tape, time and sales, advanced FinTech software and hotkeys for efficient execution. I use trading strategies to extract value from equity and future markets. Utilizing limit and stop orders, as well as, risk and money management techniques to reach daily profit goals and protect capital.

I developed the skills required to trade small capital (penny stocks) and large capital stocks. Candlestick price action patterns, mean reversion and how price breaks and bounces off support and resistance levels. Use of hotkeys to enter, exit and set stop losses at the touch of a button. I follow position sizing and risk rules to reach a daily profit goal and to not exceed my daily loss limit.Everyday I would build a morning watchlist using stock scanners and trader chatrooms. To reach daily profit goal, monitored Level II pricing, time & sales tape, volume, candlestick price action, and breaks/bounces off support/resistance levels. Used hotkeys to enter, exit and set stop loss instantaneously.

I completed the Maverick FX education training program and was approved as a FX proprietary trader. During that time I created a trading plan and completed profitable demo trading before being given the trust and respect to trade real money.I learnt the fundamentals of technical analysis, risk analysis, position management, and macro-economic research. I keep a trade journal in excel of all my entry and exit dates and prices as well as the strategies and technical setups used. Learning to use the advanced trading platform, Interactive Broker's Trader Workstation.
