6 years experience in Airfield Operations and Health and Safety. This has led to a keen interest in both Avitiation and Health and Safety industries.I have managed teams and individuals for 5 years. Working with people and driving high quality performance is a passion for me. I enjoy seeing good work being completed and ensure people are appraised for this. Aviation has always been something I have loved since I developed an interest in aircraft at a younger age. Working in this industry provides me with great job satisfaction as the ever changing pace of my day and difference in challenges faced drives me to produce great work. Health and Safety is a newer interest of mine. Since working as an Airfield Safety Officer at age 22, I have developed a keen interest in Health and Safety. I currently hold a Nebosh General Certifcate and I am working towards a Level 6 qualification in the coming months/years. I get no better job satisfaction than seeing Health and Safety improve as a result of my work. Good Health and Safety saves lives and livelihoods. This is why this industry is now a passion of mine. I enjoy learning and I aim to improve my knowledge by completing a Level 6 qualification in occupational Health and Safety as well as a Level 3 qualification in Fire Safety at some point soon. I currently hold 2 qualifications in training, assessing and teaching which I use to deliver internal training in my current role. Another passion of mine is passing the knowledge I have onto others just starting or seeking a pathway into the Health and Safety or Aviation industry.
