Computer scientist and programmer.Through my professional life I have both studied and taught computer science at a university level.All the way back in my first year of undergraduate study I discovered a love for computer science which I kept up through my studies, eventually coming out of university with an undergraduate BSc double majoring in Information Systems and Computer Science and then a postgraduate BSc with Honours in Computer Science. I have also done a variety of work for the University of Auckland. I taught in their undergraduate labs, marked papers, and helped to create a new undergraduate course. Currently I am working for UoA's school of computer science as a research programmer in the field of IT security and access control.Through my studies I was exposed to many areas of IT, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. My favourite areas of study are AI, cryptography, algorithmics, and theoretical computing. I gained quality technical expertise, experience in teamwork, developed my time-management skills and successfully completed assignments to a high standard while meeting strict deadlines.
