    Responsible for advising the Commission on a wide range of strategic legal, HR, Organisational Design and Development and employee relations / communications issues.Led on the development and delivery of the first Judicial Diversity Strategy which was aimed at tackling gender under-representation at certain tiers of judicial office in NI. Developed a wide range of positive action measures, working closely with colleagues from the Department of Justice (DOJ), OFMDFM and the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service (NICTS) in developing a new Policy for Judicial Succession Planning in Northern Ireland. Implemented a clear framework for effecting judicial appointments in Northern Ireland, and developed a Judicial Shadowing Scheme and an Outreach and Communications Strategy to encourage more applications to judicial office from under-represented groups. As a result the gender profile of judicial officers in Northern Ireland increased from 5% to 14% in 5 years.Also led on Northern Ireland’s first Judicial Flexible Working Policy and a separate Professional Mentoring and Development Policy.
