Certified Mentor in Violence Prevention Program counselor. Focus on violence against women, racial discrimination, and LGBTQ discrimination. Goal is to raise awareness, inspire leadership, challenge thinking, and open dialogue around these issues. Advocate for active bystanders. Along with my training I conducted research on these topics and updated the statistics used in this program.

A senior project internship that later turned into a job for me. I helped with inventory, spreadsheets, marketing and research. I learned a lot about how a business is run and also was exposed largely to the medical side of the business.

I instruct and lead kids through various games and activities in a safe fun manner. Communicate with parents about how their kids are doing. Create a safe environment for the kids to be in.Really allowed me to utilize my communication skills and become more personable.

I focused more on stocking the nurses kitchens and making sure those areas stayed clean and organized for nurse and patient use. Also cleaned and assisted in the kitchen. Learned more about how Hospitals run and how each person has a role to play.

I helped fix up the church and make sure everything was running smoothly. I received a raise after two weeks at this Job. Various tasks were painting, weeding, washing, building etc...Gained valuable experience working while working here. Did many different things.
