Team Lead / Project Manager of UCD Formula Student. This is an engineering team with the goal of designing and building an electric formula style race car. This is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of mainly engineering students. In my role I hade to co-ordinate the 70 team members to ensure they work together effectively to meet sharp deadlines. As this was an extra-curricular activity a huge part of my job was to lead and inspire the team to ensure everyone was motivated to put in the work and felt happy in the team

This job role involved visiting post-primary schools in dublin to educate the students about the alternative pathways they can take into college and advise them on which grant schemes are applicable to them. It was also my duty to run an interactive camp to show these students what life as a college student is like to aid in convincing them to pursue further education.
