Since completing my Masters of Engineering at University College Dublin in 2014, I have gained valuable experience in the rail industry, working in fleet engineering and RAMS analysis. I have worked on many different rolling stock vehicles, both new and old. This has included improving the reliability of the Class 700 Thameslink fleet and the Abellio Greater Anglia fleet. This work involved analysing live-feed information, supporting the operator and outstation technicians through day-to-day faults on the train, and implementing processes and procedures for the maintenance depots. I have spent the last four years working in engineering consultancy in the UK and Australia, which has further developed my skills in asset management, risk analysis, documentation and reporting of faults, and project management. I am keen to further develop my skills in new technology, business, and leadership, and to use these in the workplace.As a chartered engineer, my primary goal is to use my skillset and expertise in fleet maintenance and RAMS engineering to provide innovative solutions which maximise the efficiency of the asset.Specialties: problem solving, self-improvement, strategy, innovation, leadership, asset management.
