About Conor Hoban

I manage our EU Advanced Resolutions Consultant team in our Customer Advocacy Department at Wayfair. The Advanced Resolutions Consultant provides specialised support to customers with unique issues and deals with anything from a CEO escalation, or Legal complaint to a mass outreach on orders. We cover Ireland, UK and German marketplaces. Upon resolution, we assess the issues faced and where possible, provide feedback to the business to better equip us to provide a perfect experience for our customers from purchase to delivery. Before joining Wayfair, I worked for Sony PlayStation, in this role, I got to work with amazing staff and I quickly learned the tools needed to deal with difficult escalations and how to troubleshoot quickly and effectively. As our core market was online gamers, this led to a lot of calls/emails coming through with frustrating issues. This was challenging as I had to quickly adapt to a large influx of angry callers, I was however very well trained in de-escalation and call flow management.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to impress. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite part is having to adjust the way I approach each issue as all our customers are unique and require different kinds of assistance based on their concerns/queries. I really enjoy seeing people grow and develop and it is a passion of mine to help others reach their potential.
