I've just completed two years in Canada, where I was working as a skilled labourer in the construction industry for a large company called Pomerleau. The year I left for Canada was 2018, this was the year I completed my second college degree at Dundalk Institute of Technology. My college degrees are a Level 7 degree in Mechanical Engineering and an Honours Degree in Sustainable Design Engineering. I have recently joined Irish Rail in October 2020 as an engineering graduate, where I'll be working in the SET department. For Pomerleau's second project we we're drilling 150 meters down, therefore, in Canada you need mine emergency rescue team and I was chosen out of the Pomerleau empolyees to be on this team.
