In this team we focused on meeting segment leaders discussing process issues and bringing in and managing innovative projects to solve supply chain issues. Focused on finding and testing cost effective reliable sensors for data collection to drive towards a goal of process integrated quality measurements to reduce requirements in off-line testing. Sensors worked on include typical PAT (pH, spectroscopy, conductivity probes, etc.) and camera feeds running trained computer vision models. Worked with potential vendors to evaluate their solutions to process issues and compare with alternative vendors. Evaluated vendors on their technical abilities and their business partnership potential. Maintained a safe working lab space in compliance with site EHS policies. Completed risk assessments on new project lab test setups. Multiple new technologies tested and moved to deployment while many others found unsuitable early saving wasted effort.
