Legal intern in a long-standing reputable firm specialising in criminal defence law and human rights. I interned at Sheehan & Partners during the summer of 2020 (shortened by Covid) and the experience was truly invaluable. This role involved a number of aspects, namely, research and analysing a variety of legal issues pertaining to clients effected by different aspects of the criminal law system. It involved a high volume of engagement with clients which has given me invaluable experience in client interaction. Furthermore, this role entailed intense clerical work, for example, compiling case files for trial which must be carried out diligently with great accuracy and care.

This role entailed the prevention of incidents, the education of beach users and responding to a variety of incidents on the beach.
