I am a senior leader with over 25 years’ experience leading high-performance teams in both military and corporate environments. Currently the Senior Director of Physical Security for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region where I lead a geographically dispersed organization composed of multi-disciplinary teams that are involved in the full life cycle of all Microsoft cloud platforms, from country risk assessments, threat assessments, policies and procedures, site selection/assessment, physical security design, systems implementation, testing/commissioning, and operations/guarding. We are responsible for the physical security of all critical infrastructure facilities in the Microsoft portfolio. In my time in the military I led high performing teams in complex threat environments abroad in countries such as East Timor, Chad, Liberia and most recently Lebanon.
