I have a broad range of skills and abilities that have come from both life experiences and a variety of work environments. After growing up on a family farm, I spent the early part of my career working with the Corporate and Public sector in Ireland designing telecom infrastructure solutions, before going on to do this at a global scale with some of the largest companies in the world. I then traveled through Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North, and Central America by solo hitchhiking. I experienced more than one could imagine on my journey through remote, low-income, and conflicted areas spending time and living with local families. Most recently I worked with the largest FIs in North America leading their Embedded Banking strategy to integrate treasury solutions into ERP environments for their corporate clients. It was considered the largest technical project in Europe and is a redesign and integration of 67 legacy systems within Vodafone Ireland. The budget allocation for this project is β¬127 millionI joined the newly defined Consumer Converged Team with a key challenge of developing new converged propositions and benefits for Irish consumers by creating additional promotions and benefits leveraging the capabilities of Equinox through converged packages of our Mobile & Fixed (Broadband, TV and Landline) services. Aligned to the Head of Business Operations and the ECS Director I was assigned to coordinate the creation of the ECS Business Strategy for Financial Year 2016/2017. Upon agreements of multiple initiatives to execute this strategy; I worked cross-functionally with teams and business units to achieve goals and KPIβs and deliver profitable success metrics for the growth of ECS. Certain key initiatives and skill-sets obtained included: Complex process design and implementation of VCES (Vodafone Carrier Ethernet Service) WAN Access and Direct Voice Access using swim-lane design for Sell, Build and Run (Support lines 1,2,3). - VCES Process delivered highest SLAβs in Ireland for a Microwave Access Type.- Capable of delivering 100% margin over 2 years.- Received CAPEX investment of β¬2 million to deliver VCES solution for Corporate clients. Government Cloud Network (GCN): Vodafone Ireland won a contract to design and build the physical infrastructure of the GCN with the goal of connecting all government agencies in Ireland with 1Gb fiber. With challenging targets and delivery times the network rolled out leasing 3rd party suppliers linking to the Vodafone Core network. I was assigned the challenge of analyzing the physical infrastructure and P+L of the GCN to deliver cost saving initiatives and create positive returns. Project Knight: Part of a team which carried out analysis of all ECS Data Circuits to achieve clear visibility across all systems and ECS spend to improve pricing for clients and savings for ECS. SAP Clean-Up Project: Working alongside Head of Enterprise Finance to do a system clean of all financial forecasts of project pipelines across sales and project managers within Enterprise Business unit.
