I’m an industrial designer based in Akron Ohio, with over two decades of experience designing award-winning products for the commercial architecture and building industry. I have completed successful projects for some of the industry’s largest brands such as the CRH, Saint Gobain, Oldcastle, CertainTeed, Skyline Designs, and Whole Foods. I lead work for clients both large and small and have successfully produced millions in sales with new product launches. I believe that design is the artistic application of logic and must be both rational and profitable to make sense. With Forms+Surfaces, my responsibilities have centered primarily on the design and development of the LEVELe family of products. Within this family are the LEVELe cab system, LEVELe column cover system, and the LEVELe wall system. In addition to the LEVELe systems, I have also developed architectural systems to house signs, and flight information displays. Outside of systems development, I have completed numerous trade show exhibits, created the linq product line amongst various surface projects, backlighting projects, large scale office renovations, and recently outdoor furniture.

While at Whole Foods Market, I was responsible for the equipment layouts, FF&E, material schedules, and millwork. In addition to these specific duties I was also looked to in order to develop new vendors, apply new treatments to un-developed locations, work with architects to communicate plan changes and assist in store marketing. Previous to designing the stores, I was tasked with designing, procuring, and providing installation for all of the signage for the NYC tri-state region.

While at Harry Allen I was responsible for the design and manufacturing of all the products included in both the Reality and Harry Allen Studio line. This work included, creating product presentations, interpreting design ideas, sourcing vendors, procuring random objects, and identifying manufacturing technologies.
