Through research internships and my final year project, I have gained experience in different areas of computational chemistry such as using molecular dynamics simulations to study enzyme catalysis, and using molecular docking and a bespoke ML algorithm to study the binding of sugar molecules to a biologically important target. I currently have a strong interest in areas of synthetic biology and biomolecular engineering, exploring these topics through personal scientific computing projects. I'm seeking to develop my skills in a gap year before going on to further study.
