-Developed Java Map Reduce analytics on cloud architecture. Used Python and Pig to perform exploratory data analysis and prototype analytics. -Created a suite of Python and Java scripts to process high volume reference data files to generate a complete reference set. Complete set is used as enrichment in follow on analytics and as a resource for the organization as a whole. Scripts identified and tracked differences between records in each file.-Served as the advocate for a Data Science community of interest consisting of over 250 individuals. Scheduled and held presentations and informal discussion roundtables to present Data Science work and to push the use case of Data Science on the contract forward. -Led as the Mission Technical Lead on the contract over viewing a staff of 30+. Worked with the client to identify new requirements, create and update statements of work, and meet with to update on the status of the section. Reviewed monthly status reports from staff and aggregated quarterly highlights for presentation in briefings to leadership.

-As the lead government developer on a team creating an enterprise notification system, was the liaison between contract development team and government supervisors, responsible for helping develop product architecture, proposing new back-end and front-end development, leading collaboration efforts with external teams and engaging with operational customers-Developed back-end code for mongo database query and aggregations, REST endpoints, and data access in Java and SpringFramework-Using UX designer’s mockups, developed front-end user interface in REACT-Developed PIG scripts to process large scale data to meet customers requested needs.

-Updated an existing project that returns a query of map generated quadkeys by fixing dead links and modifying it to better meet the needs of my group. I also configured the tool into an application using OpenShift software.-Programmed a Python/Pig UDF that allows for the quick minimization of data. Implemented the UDF using cloud architecture and Pig. While developing I used the Git/GitLab workflow process to keep track of changes and allow for code review by mentors.
