My position within the company was the UK's Brand Ambassador and Representative. My role was working with the top 30 John Lewis stores to ensure responsibility for achieving sales targets, maximising sales and driving profitability. This demanded consistently the highest level of communications by demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and store standards with a commercial understanding of key sales drivers and opportunities. Completed a two week placement at Nottingham Youth Offending Team shadowing an experienced YOT Officer. As a Youth Offending Team Officer, you would aim to prevent young people aged 10-18 from offending and re-offending. I was able to part take or shadow the following - - Created a Breakfast Club for the young people attending the YOT. - Completing risk assessments forms and planning how to manage future risk.- Witness the preparation of pre-sentence reports for the courts, - Supervising young offenders on court orders, community sentences.- Opportunity to sit in sessions with young offenders to explore the effect of inappropriate behaviour and attitudes on others, helping them taking responsibility for their actions.- Meetings with various staff from partner organisations such as the police, social services, probation, health services and education.
