I am currently completing a training contract with PwC Ireland within the Audit & Assurance department. I work with industry leaders on the audits of global multi-national companies as well as indigenous Irish firms. I completed professional exams during the contract with membership to Chartered Accountants Ireland pending for November 2024.Key responsibilities include:Performing work on all financial statement line items, business processes and controls.Performing work on journal entry testing.Knowledge of reporting frameworks including IFRS, FRS102, FRS101 and USGAAP.Knowledge of a wide range of ERPs including SAP, Oracle, Sage and the associated General Ledgers and Trial Balances.Assisting clients in the preparation of year-end financial statements. This included the reconciliation of Trial Balance figures to Financial Statements and guidance on standards.Project management of the audit and ensuring completion of activities in line with deadlines set by clients. This included managing and coaching junior team members.Excellent excel skills and use of other data tools such as Alteryx and PowerBI.

Greenogue Business Park

I completed an internship at Enva Ireland, Greenogue Business Park for the summer of 2019. I worked as an Accounts Assistant. My key duties during my time at Enva included: Posting all daily bank transactions onto CODA financials.Producing weekly bank reconciliations for the company's bank accounts.Credit control duties including communicating with customers for old outstanding balances.Assisting in sales invoicing for all divisions across the company.Supplier reconciliations for accounts payable.Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.Processing monthly employee expenses, posting to CODA financials and preparing bank filefor payment.
