Mechatronics Engineer by training with experience as a Project Engineer in the energy and resource industry.At GFF Power I led a small team of engineers in technical and commercial tendering activities for major transmission infrastructure projects, managed projects collaboratively with international supply partners and major Australian energy & resource industry clients, and assisted in business strategy design.During and immediately following my time at GFF, I undertook a Graduate Certificate of Public Policy with emphasis on economic policy for energy, the environment, natural resources, and climate change.I have since worked in Deloitte's Public Sector Advisory section as part of the Global Innovation and Investment Incentives (Gi3) team, with a particular focus on helping energy and resource sector clients to understand and strategically engage with the policy and economic landscape of Australia at both the national and state & territory level.I am currently employed by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) in the Clean Energy Technology Finance team. This team is responsible for managing statutory and policy oversight of the Australian Government’s primary investment vehicles for providing financial support for clean energy: the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC).
