The map allowed you to click on a specific Walgreens site to load KPI & Work Ticket data for that specific site, or zoom out and re-calculate the same metrics for all the sites displayed in the map window. This implementation involved heavy MySQL query optimization as the code involved multiple joins and calculations on 50,000+ records, a heavily customized Javascript implementation of the Google Maps APIGeo-fenced subcontractor clock inThis feature was built to improve the accuracy of a KPI metric of the average time to complete a Work Ticket. We had the Lat/Lng coordinates of 3,000+ Walgreens locations managed, so the implementation was to only allow the subcontractor to clock in when they were actually at the physical location of the job. This involved sending phone browser geo location to the backend and calculating the distance from the stored Lat/Lng via an equation in a MySQL query (as opposed to handling the calculation in Javascript).Re-platforming to ReactThis sub-project was driven by improved business-case and UX changes to improve the Encompass client experience. The goal was to update the UI and UX of the application to improve the Work Ticket submission and status monitoring process. This implementation involved rebuilding the front end with an entirely new design from scratch on React utilizing Hooks, Context and optimizing the app through code-splitting to keep things fast.
