Worked as a tutor for INFO 376 Enterprise Architecture. In this role I act as a teaching assistant and help facilitate learning in the lectures as well as in the tutorials surrounding TOGAF and modeling the diagrams required by the different phases in the ADM cycle. I provide guidance on students work as well as presenting relevant material that builds on the lectures and marking students assignment submissions.I previously was in the role of tutor for INFO 141 Systems Analysis. In this role I helped to facilitate students learning through the presentation of additional learning material and guiding students on their assignments and marking them. This course taught students the basics around modeling and requirements elicitation and other such activities associated with performing the tasks of a business analyst. I also tutored INFO 151 Databases. This course taught students how to use the basics of SQL using a program called SQL lite using different queries while also teaching Normalization. Tihs course provided a grounding in how to perform SQL queries and a technical understanding. In my role as tutor I presented the additional material that built on the lectures and helped students with their work and provided additional understanding when trying to execute the difference SQL queries.

While I was studying in 2017 one of the courses I took was project based and a team of 4 of us were paired with a real life client.We were tasked with improving the look and feel of their website. We were tasked with finding out what requirements they wanted for their new website, why they wanted to change and we did this over a 12 week period. I and another student were tasked with the marketing aspects of the website while the other 2 students were working on the UI/UX design.Our efforts as the marketing side intertwined with the others doing the design aspect as what we found out and were required to do would impact the aspects of the website that the client wanted changed.We took what the client wanted and started doing research, prototyping ideas, working with them in an agile scrum way and after 12 weeks produced a version of their website that they were happy with.

While I was studying abroad in the US, one of the Information Systems courses I took was project based and we were put into a team of 6 to work with a real-life client. We carried out the tasks and steps required of a business analyst to figure out what the client wanted. They had a system that was not working well and a large portion of their consumer base was using their competitors system.We were tasked with the objective of finding out the requirements of what they wanted done, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the system and the access to the system on their website (visibility). At the end of this project we presented on our solution and our proposal of what should be done to improve the visibility and usability of the system to grow their consumer base again. We did not end up implementing what was proposed as that was left to the private company themselves.
