Search Infrastructure using Elasticsearch.A part of the Infrastructure team charged with provisioning the Elasticsearch clusters (and managing the data pipeline) that handle search requests from Alexa and Amazon Music.An example project:Ryo Configuration Service: Configured and deployed new service for vending cluster topology dynamic configurations. An internal DSL is used to direct search traffic to ES clusters. This DSL has multiple pieces and updating them in the wrong dependency order would cause routing problems. Made a service and deployment pipeline to package the configs together and vend them atomically.

Developed new and contributed to existing research software used by Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi Group, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo and CapIQ (S&P). Full stack. Frontend in React JS. Backend in Python Django. Projects I've touched: Sheets -> a Graphical User Interface built on top of Python's Pandas Library embodied in the form of a spreadsheet. Allows users to query and explore financial data much more quickly than previously possible. React JS. Visualizations done in D3 and canvas.Klang -> A Domain Specific Language for making queries for financial data to a PostgreSQL database. Used across the Kensho Platform. Asset Overview -> Kensho's general web app for quick per asset exploration. React JS. Attempts to provide helpful visualizations that highlight how various events and metrics affect the performance of specific assets.Sigma Moves -> Web app for exploring patterns in the relation between the standard deviation of returns and future rates of return (predicting future returns using averages of past returns when at the same standard deviation).Plot -> Simple graphing tool for assets and lists of assets. D3.Studies -> Web app for finding correlations between a set of events a set of assets. Visualizations of popular indicators (I.E. choose a set of events - Apple earnings release dates (event set) and see how apple suppliers (asset set) have been affected by an earnings release in the past).
