I was shown the closing procedure for cashing up the tills and what is involved in cash management such as after shift lock up, dealing with banks and gathering change. I have been tasked with gathering and delivering the stock to this site 4 days a week using our company van. Other duties that I am now part of include managing the social media account for our shop/café and since June 2022 look after the ordering of our cleaning materials from our supplier and watching café stock levels and presenting a list of stock needed to our shop supervisor. Since April 2022 I have been handed more opportunities and regularly cover breaks in our shop and also or KP area where we clean all of our cutlery, bowls, platesand other equipment ensuring it gets back to front of house in a timely manner and the clean down of all tables after customers have left. On occasion I have stepped in to the kitchen for a few moments to help prepare salads or sandwiches. I have helped with the delivery from GCLS. As of June I started to work a little closer with our operations manager regarding site operations and where I can assisit. Health and safety while on the job has also been a part of this. Since starting my role within the company I have become familiar and friendly with a lot of our regular customers and as such have dealth with some complaints/concerns of theirs always ensuring that they are leaving satisfied with the level of service we have given. In June 2021 I was able to gain employment with a local mobile home dealer. Here, my duties included sales and media management for the company along with some administration duties regarding company vehicles. In sales, I worked first hand with potential customers walking them through what we had to offer and helped them in choosing a holiday home right for them. Here, my duties included sales and media management for the company along with some administration duties regarding company vehicles. In sales, I worked first hand with potential customers walking them through what we had to offer and helped them in choosing a holiday home right for them. From start to finish I was involved in the sales and after sales process from first down payment to delivery of their new home on site. In October 2021 as the sales side slowed down the managing director retook the role of sales. In the media side of the company, I'm currently tasked with running the social media and managing the website. This is showing our customers what we are about and also what we are doing on a day to day whether that's onsite with a customer or a day in the shed doing maintenance. As for the website I'm charged with the uploading and management of new stock that's arrived onsite making sure it is posted and available to view online. I am also charged with some admin duties relating to the company vehicles these include transferring all checks to digital copies, any work carried out is fully recorded and any payments are noted.
