I am looking to build upon my skills and progress within my current organisation. I am currently studying to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor; My interest stems in not having the same day all of the time. My main skills are:Communicating - I am a team player; I often do what I can to help my colleagues and I achieve our goals. Likewise, I can be open to criticism and do what I can to fulfil what is required. Strong communication is key to people being happy in the workplace, this brings out the best in individuals. Independence - I often don’t seek immediate guidance in what to do in whatever scenario it may be; I try to resolve issues/disputes by myself before involving others as I enjoy finding my own solutions. Work Ethic - I try to do my best on a daily basis; I am always in competition with myself. This means that I am able to self-motivate and work in a stress-free manner. I focus on bringing out the best in myself and nearby colleagues.Computing - Having used computers for Education/Work and leisure, I am very familiar with the use of various applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) in addition to this, I am able to touch-type in the region of 60-65 words per minute. In my spare time I like to work on expanding my skills with computers, such as using design applications. The skill I aim to improve upon most is Leadership. Although I do have some experience, this is a skill that can always be improved upon. I would like to have more hands on experience with managing others and bringing out the best in a team environment.
