In my current role I develop user and developer API documentation. Using docs-as-code tools such as the command line interface, git, and Postman, I plan, develop, and publish documentation for best-use practices of IQM's API offerings. Additionally I have worked with the static-site generator Docusaurus to publish the documentation. This has involved building the site, styling the pages, and overall creating a streamlined user experience to access the documentation in an aesthetically cohesive way. This documentation site sources its information from both the Open API Specification (OAS) and web user guides, synthesizing information-dense API methods and endpoints with user-friendly language and tutorial-focused guides. In previous roles I have taken on a number of technical writing projects to grow and streamline the internal documentation library for two of the biggest craft breweries in the Pacific Northwest. I have maintained and edited SOP documentation as well as audited ERP data management software. One of my major projects has involved adapting documentation from the production facility to a smaller facility. This project has involved interacting with SMEs, drafting new SOPs, and translating procedural information, all while maintaining the company's best practices. This project has expanded the documentation library and streamlined the research and development of new products within the company by making key processes transparent and accessible to a wider set of employees who could then participate in the innovation side of production. I also have over a decade of experience with blogging on various platforms. I have worked on several different content management systems, especially Wordpress, employing HTML and design to create aesthetically coherent webpages and pristine copy. Over the years I have proofread and edited various kinds of writing, learning the style guidelines and usage rules appropriate to any subject matter at hand. I have also freelanced as a beta reader on the website Fiverr, delivering reader reports on fiction, giving feedback on style, grammar, and usage on a quick turnaround.
